While the festival has ended, the murals will brighten our community for many years to come.

Why the last year?
Some mural festivals paint over artwork after a few years, but we’ve invested in clear-coating the murals so they last — simply put, we’ve run out of walls!

While it’s always sad to see good things end, Bright Walls has paved the way for new events in downtown Jackson, and we’re excited for the future.

ABOUT US: Bright Walls is a public art and mural festival founded and run by volunteer members of the Jackson Young Professionals. In just five years, the festival hosted artists from across the world, bringing 75 world-class murals to the downtown district — creating a new destination in our community.

Throughout the festival, Bright Walls showcased the artists’ talents alongside musicians, local artists and many other community organizations.

Bright Walls is made possible through the support of planning team members, partners, mural artists, building owners, volunteers, and the community.
